The Archipelago Stock Exchange application shows that E Trade paid 2 1/2 times what Goldman Sachs did for the same stake in the Archipelago ECN when they both got involved in early January. I went back to the post you put up on January 11, and see that you have their press release from January 7th attached discussing the equal stakes but no financial terms were released at that time.

Does anyone have any idea why E Trade would pay 25 million and Goldman Sachs would only pay 10 million for the same stake? The 25 million and 10 million dollar figures were also pointed out in the following Redherring.com story.
