Darn Gold! I bought the miners for the first time on 7/7/99 thinking we were very close to a 20 year bottom with cost of production exceeding spot and bearish sentiment at 87% (vs. 93% bulls on the US dollar). True to form, as I think Buffett said, I managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and took a one month profit of 20% and two week of 10%. I am feeling like a real bonehead now as they soar above my exit price :)
