Mentor Graphics and Wind River Systems Team Up to Provide Comprehensive XRAY Debugging Solution for the Tornado Development Environment

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Mentor Graphics(R) Corporation (Nasdaq: MENT) today announced an agreement with Wind River Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: WIND) to integrate the Mentor Graphics XRAY(R) Debugger with Wind River's Tornado(TM) development platform and VxWorks(R) Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). With this agreement, Mentor Graphics plans to bring the industry's most technologically-advanced embedded debugger, XRAY, to the broad base of application developers using the VxWorks RTOS. This agreement furthers the Mentor Graphics Embedded Software Division's strategy to provide RTOS-aware debugging capabilities for use with leading real-time operating systems.

As a result of this agreement, Mentor Graphics will become a member of the Wind River WindLink(TM) Partner program.
