Jim, Don't mistake prudent insureance buying versus real products to offer. IDC is somehow sanctioned by QC (not to mention exactly how), and they won a lawsuit from ERICY, so poeple are buying into the license "just in case" to reduce the nuisance factor rather than to validate them. The rest of your email about people on this thread is pure conjecture. I know Perry well and he did in fact post on the thread. I spoke wiht him on it on the phone.
