An Intel spokesman stressed that the issues were related to implentation of the technology in specific computer designs, not with the Intel chips themselves.

So Intel's saying it's not Camino. But on the other hand, I believe Intel was just as involved, if not more involved, in the Validation/Certification program. Since Intel has obviously been the major proponent of RDRAM, it seems rather cheesy to me to try to lay blame elsewhere now. It was their responsibility (and certainly in their best interests) to make sure this roll-out was successful.
