Whither BARRY BRISCO? Here's an interesting bit of info that has come to light on the Raging Bull. Someone over there mentioned that PABN/PRWT was a reseller of TeleCenter, a videophone-like gadget. (See: icit.co.kr ICIT claims to have ICIT America (in Canada) as their major distributor in North America. They are listed at the icitamerica.com site as well.
But look at who owns the ICITAMERICA.COM site. Why there is Barry Brisco. Administrative Contact: Brisco, Barry (BB15067) comport@CYBERUS.CA, 613-562-0598 (FAX) 613-562-0914
A quick search yields: . . . Barry Brisco, the chief executive of TransPhone. (See: nytimes.com From 4/4/96) . . . said Barry Brisco, chief executive officer for TransPhone, LLC. (See: eu.citrix.com TransPhone manufactures the $500 integrated TransPhone telephone and Internet terminal device.
The TransPhone site is registered to Transphone LLC, but transphone.com does not have a DNS entry any longer. Neither does its apparent UK distributor, transphone.co.uk .
Which brings us now to his little bit of arcane history having to do with PABN/PRWT. Does anyone remember this?: Video Phones Pan American has merged with Visual Interactive Phone Concepts that has a U.S. patent for exclusive rights to a Videophone Interactive Mailbox Facility System which is in production and will be used to set up instant mortgage offices anywhere in the world. 5000 videophones are said to be on order.
Visual Interactive Phone Concepts Anthony J. Cinotti, John Davidsohn 212/859-3531 fax: 212/344-1910 Com Port Barry Brisco Tel: (613) 562-0598 #reply-6851581
Where once there was a merger now there is a reseller arrangement? And did anyone notice how they characterize their application? Financial Services through RMC. Hooboy. And these links at ICIT are dated (August 16, 1999) later than John Schmitz' announcement that PABN/PRWT was no longer pursuing the RMC opportunity.
So whither Barry Brisco? Once Mr. TransPhone, now Mr. ICIT America? Once with Com:Port and Visual Interactive Phone Concepts, now reselling videophone applications to the company that was supposed to own patents in this area, PABN/PRWT.
For that matter whither Anthony J. Cinotti and John Davidsohn in New York selling videophones? Whither Douglas E. Taylor, President of Panamerican Interactive? Or Brian Fiddler or Kathy Whyte the officers of Visual Interactive?
