Stephen Chase was the former investor relations guy. Mark said he talked to him, and he bailed because he was being constantly hammered for the volatility (down) by small investors, and didn't want that kind of grief.
More on the meeting...The technology was great to stunning. Full color is there (SXVGA), but has to be hooked up to a steamer trunk of drivers, lasers and mystery electronics (hey, I'm a shoeguy, and don't know a diode from a dip-switch). From reading the posts on the club, everyone there had different things that impressed them, so here's my highlights. #1 Rick is a real leader. It is fortunate we have such a guy orchestrating and directing our little company. #2 Microvision is now focused on product development. They have had to put some of the potential lines of inquiry on the back burner for the time being. #3 VRD image Resolution is, or soon will be able to, surpass the resolution capacity of the human eye. This will make VRD the only electronic display acceptable for medical imaging.
All in all it was a great meeting, and I have no problem recommending the company to my friends and relations. |
