Stock Buyback

BOSTON, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- PAREXEL International Corporation (Nasdaq: PRXL)
announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a stock repurchase program
authorizing the repurchase of up to $20 million of the Company's common stock. As of the
end of the fourth quarter ended June 30, 1999, PAREXEL had approximately 25 million
common shares outstanding. The repurchases will be made in the open market subject to
market conditions.
