They know it will do them no good to have legal protection from homos while Demoblicans take food from their children. So not only are SC issues ignored on the social front, but also on the economic front. A reference somewhat by implication is made here to the problem of SCs remaining within the GOP. It seems many people think the only thing about which SCs are concerned are homosexuals, evolution and abortion, when for years they have lobbied hard against Washington's pork processor and other economic issues. The SCs should establish their own voice, using their considerable passion and resources to form and support their own institutions (particularly in education), doing whatever they can to eschew all other institutions that do not support their agenda. When they do that, they will have true, lasting and positive impact on this country.
