Hi Walt,
I have no idea when SME might turn around but I am in for whatever time it takes. I have this stock in my IRA as well and I am pushing 68 years old.
What I do when I get into one of these situations is I watch for the stock to bottom out and then I trade it in 2000 share trades with a 1/4 point gain.
I know that when you have limited funds that you can't do this but I am very patient and confident that SME will show me a good profit.
Sorry I can't be more helpful. You know that as soon as you sell it the price will rise.
