Unclewest, you're very quiet. Don't let all the negative comments chase you away. You always said that the payoff will be in 2001-2002. This event has not changed that timing a bit. It has changed the probability of Rambus becoming the standard by a few percentage points, but not significantly. I'm not a techie, but if Rambus works in two module systems, I can't believe there isn't a way to make it work in three.

I remember when Dell had a problem with their notebook computers and it turned out to be a great buying opportunity, I remember when Intel had a problem with their new pentiums and it was another buying opportunity. Now Rambus is not Dell or Intel, but the reason I have my money in Rambus is because Intel and Dell are committed to them (particularly Intel).

Over the years I've found that when the panic sets in is not the time to sell. Now if we go for two months with no positive announcements and the stock is gradually fading to the low 50's or 40's, then the market is telling us the problems are going to be difficult to surmount. Then its time to make a decision to hold or fold.
