Well, I didn't quite make it back in my allotted 15
minutes, but here are the setup and hold times for the
"value" IBM standard cell 0.25u process, certainly not
an excessively state of the art process, though I
wouldn't throw it out of my bed for eating crackers...

The specs for their flip-flop are given on page 305/333
and are as follows:

I hope this explains better what happens to setup and
hold times as flip-flops get integrated into actual
designs.
