Again, I speak from a bird's eye view. Surely were I to get very close to each of the two groups I would find differences between them as I would in comparisons of various other Democrat factions. Nevertheless effectively the two groups are one, proceeding in virtually the same abominable direction.

When the so called Republicans are for years consistently successful in promoting and wimpishly accepting policies that are truly abominable to the SCs, the SCs should begin to wonder if there is a better way. I say there is definitely a better way, and it begins with an SC bolt from the GOP. Little would change, as Democrats already have the field. Additionally there will remain enough good Republicans to continue checking Democrat lunacy. So the SCs can easily rely upon and even vote for those Republicans to preserve the status quo until such a time as they can build and implement their own institutions.

When Weyrich suggested something along these lines I and a number of my friends were astonished, as we had been thinking along the same lines. I hope the thought takes off. It seems several SC players are making something of an effort here. In a few years we will see if their plans come to fruition. If they do then perhaps 10-15 years from now they will have completed a foundation upon which a real political alternative to the Demoblicans can be established.

I detect that my position here irks you Neocon. I hope I am wrong. I simply do not have the faith you have in the GOP. Yet I think it is great that you believe as you do, particularly in that I believe it is people exactly like you who will help keep America from going off the Democrat deep end.
