Imaging Technologies Licenses ColorBlind Technology to Applied Image Technology International
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 1999--Imaging Technologies Corp. (Nasdaq: ITEC) today announced that it has come to an agreement with Applied Image Technology International of Great Britain to bundle ITEC's ColorBlind engine and ICC profiles with the Shiraz(TM) PostScript level 3 software RIP developed by AIT specifically for wide-format digital printing.
"The ColorBlind engine gives us 100% ICC compatibility, allowing Shiraz(TM) users to optimize their color output and tailor it to the model of printer they operate and to the paper or film media they employ," said AIT International Chief Executive Officer, Roger Ward.
The Colorblind technology to be included with AIT's Shiraz(TM) RIP will allow the user to select and apply ICC profiles to assure color matching from original to print.
