Closed above 1282 was good. Positive Surprises Hillenbrand Industries (HB: news, msgs) posted third-quarter net income of $19 million, or 35 cents a share, on revenue of $481 million. Analysts expected a profit of 34 cents a share. In the year-ago period, the funeral services company posted net income of $23 million, or 60 cents a share, on revenue of about $481 million. Shares rose 1/8 to 27 1/4.
