Depends on the rules their hedge fund uses.

I have posted twice that I have been surprised by CC's heavy handed selling. But it seems pretty clear that they don't want to hold an unhedged position in Valence. I think if they had taken 30 days to unwind instead of ten or so, they probably would have gotten closer to the price of 6 it was at the day the conversion was announced.
