".... it seems pretty clear that they don't want to hold an unhedged position in Valence."

The implications of this statement are grave for VLNC.

If true, why would they not want to hold an unhedged position? Remember, klemencic long has assumed that CC, by virtue of its financing deal w/ VLNC, has access to information that no one on this thread, at least, can match. If true, with such information, why would CC not want to hold an unhedged position, IF their information supported a view that VLNC will succeed in the battery marketplace?

It bears repeating that klemencic concludes: 1. CC does not want to hold an unhedged position after concluding 2. CC has knowledge superior to anyone here regarding VLNC's prospects. The conclusion is unsupportable unless CC has decided that VLNC is not likely to succeed.

klemencic is painting himself into a corner by virtue of shoddy analysis due to a biased position that long has been untenable. I'll bet he's a poor chess player as well. What was his story with "big oil?"
