I used to trade these issues as a broker back in 1979-80. All of the one's I mentioned have active symbols on DTN Spectrum. I remember Stilfontein getting over $12 in 1983 or 1987, so I thought it might be a good spec. again. It does still trade under the symbol STILY, and I picked up some recently at $.36. I last saw it at $.50, down from $.65, so it must move around some. Bracken still comes up under BRACY, but since I can't find a market maker, that seems to be a stale symbol. It was last at $.15 in November, and I can remember investors paying over $5 for it at one time. I'm familiar with the other issues you mentioned. In the high quality sector I like Western Deeps, Vaal Reefs & Free State. Do you have any feelings on gold at this point? What about poor man's gold--silver?
