Bobby, i'm holding on to my gold stocks for the longer term...i'm not too concerned with the day-to-day moves, although today's move sure got my attention<g>. have a look at the steel stocks...they are the only commodity stocks that are still close to multi-year lows and they look like they want to bottom out to me. could be an interesting ST and even LT play once the tax loss selling abates. X,BS and LTV all qualify. another related area that may become interesting are the coal stocks like ACI. somehow they haven't kept pace with their oil cousins and perhaps a delayed reaction is in the offing. chart-wise i'd wait for a retest of the lows in ACI though before committing. regards, hb
