The reality is that traditioal organized religion, for whatever reason, isn't giving the majority of the people what they need spiritually. That is why the influence of so many alternative spiritual paths is growing. There are spiritual paths that have nothing to do with right, also. And many follow these out of lust and selfishness, and the "church of what's happening now " mentality. Heard an interesting commentary today. In speaking of the shootings at the Wedgewood Baptist Church, the comment was made about wondering why Reno did not label this a "hate" crime and only used it to throw another log on the fire of gun control. Had it been a gay bar or abortion clinic the "hate" crimes language would have been flying, but at Wedgewood, the media described the man's motives as """mysterious?""" Then the comment was made by another writer that many more Christians have been killed this year than abortion clinic doctors, where is the outrage by "our" government?
