Ike -- a pretty good pop in gold today. I cannot tell yet what spin will dominate the markets post-G7. If the BOJ succumbs to pressure to print more yen, could be the little goose the market needs to test old highs before serious selling gets the better of us later in October towards the second half of earnings season. I hope so -- I am net long here, with a ton of exposure in gold which is helping a lot at the moment.
