M seems to know which ones he can eat. I've seen him avoid a few. He took on a big one a few weeks back. It nipped him. He wipes the area with his paw when he's nipped. It wasn't bad though.

In the fall, the spiders try to move into the house.
Not very many escape Mephisto's claws!
