bobby: "i heard cmgi had great #'s." Great is an understatement. They netted $1/2 bil THIS QUARTER. They are sitting on $1/2 bil in cash and $3 bil in marketable securities (YHOO, AMZN, LCOS, SILK, ENGA, HLYW, etc). THEN you have the private holdings which they are accumulating faster than I can keep track. Don't forget Navi-Site IPOs next month (if the market doesn't tank). Alta-Vista (a top ten site) is growing faster than ANY other portal. They are filing in October for a Q1 2000 IPO. CMGI is on fire fundamentally assuming the market holds up.
