Mike, based on that review and the past sales success of the title on PSX and PC, I now think Destruction Derby could sell as well as Road Rash. Todd, what do you think?

Remember, Destruction Derby has sold millions on other platforms.

It sure seems like sales of Wrestlemania 2000 are going to be better than most of us thought. Mayhem is turning out to be a big to-do about nothing and the Jakk's CEO just said to increase estimates for the December quarter due to the THQ/JAKK joint WWF venture.

In case anyone hasn't heard, short interest is out and paints a wonderful picture. Over 3.7 million by mid-month. I was thinking anything over three million was a victory--this is great news.

It seems to me that with the stock near the new highs and the huge underwater short interest, we
could have a great end to this month. Substitute THQ for the Red Hots that Cramer is talking about
and you'll see what I mean:

<<This week marks the end of a quarter, a quarter where unless you
were in the Red Hots, you don't have much to write home about.
That won't sit well with the marketers. They are anxious to get their
people on TV and in the magazines.

It doesn't sit well with the managers, either. They know the drill.
Make it happen in 72 hours. Get long the hot ones. Move everything else up. Get the shorts to
cover.>>

Toss in a huge game release tomorrow and people wanting to get long before Farrell's speech to the
big-deal Montgomery Securities conference on the first, and you've got some nice ammo.
