Donny, a RagingBull colleague put it very succinctly. His summation is linked below. He wrote this shortly after it was announced that CMGI bought 1stUp, a FREE Internet Service Provider. So while you're mulling over TinMan2000's very nice compilation, please also consider presenting to me the reason WHY CMGI bought 1stUp? You know when oil drillers buy other oil drillers, all the oil drillers move up in share price. Will this hold true for the ISP sector, both paid and free? Maybe; maybe not. But I think consolidation within the ISP sector will become the test to who will survive. And, in my opinion, NetZero will be the gem to own.
