"These lawyers are like crows circling dead game"-------Hey, take it easy (although I'm sure your "dead game" analogy is meant to apply to Intel)-click on Hunterbob before you start putting lawyers down :<)) . Lawyers are watchdogs---or maybe attack dogs, but surely not crows---or maybe grizzlies-that's an image I could enjoy---that can (sometimes) be the difference between 1) an individual getting screwed by the runaway arrogance of a major corporation that acts only in it's own perceived interests-or maybe just acts stupidly- without regard for what happens to the little guy (investor?) and, 2)that same individual standing up and saying "Hey, you screwed up and I want my money back" and getting it (or at least part of it after he pays the poor lawyer his pittance). If some big company (maybe one that is an apparent leader in it's field) makes erroneous statements or assurances upon which it knows, or should know, that someone is going to rely in making important financial decisions and that company does so knowing those statements to be false (or even being uncertain of their truth)or without having exercised a reasonable degree of care to ascertain the truth of the statements and those someones do rely on the statement to their detriment (read loss) then what a lawyer can do (sometimes) is grab that company by the throat, wrestle it to the ground, and sqeeze it 'til it coughs up enough $$$$ to put the little guy/someone back where he started.Sure, he's going to have to pay for all that mayhem, but would you rather just go knock on Megazilla's door yourself and politely ask for a refund?
