I understand these things.

I just found John's tack to be heading down the "There must be something wrong with it" road, with a very flimsy supportive argument.

The recalls on the Xeons were for the 512 and 1 MEG versions, not the 2 MEG.

There is a reason for this.

The reason is that there is nothing to support an action for the 2 MEG's to be recalled.

2 MEG systems are the bulk of 8-way sales.

The 2 MEG systems are evidently free of the bug.

If you want to pray that a bug will appear, I guess you all are free to do so.
