The concept of women's emancipation in
countries where Eve is believed to have been born
from Adam's rib cannot compare with the Indian
concept of "Ardhnarishwar."

In other words, the west = Christianity and India = Hinduism, totally ignoring the fact that in both in the west and in India the women's lib struggle is mostly carried out by secular, even anti-religious forces.
