Ken, Please read most recent news on: acaciaresearch.com You will find that both Greenwhich Information Technologies and Combi-matrix recently were granted patents in the USA covering broad based technolgoy. Greenwhich patent dates back to 1991. Combi-matrix patent is more broad based than the technology developed by AFFX with a +2B market cap. Hope this helps.
