I've always been very happy with Schwab primarily because they have always given me very good executions, and I've been with them for about 20 years. Of course, I never do market orders because I know you'll get screwed in the clearing process.

As for risk management, I'm happy they do it. If you want more rope, I suspect if you shop around, you can find someone else that will allow you more room.
