It includes my family and friends, too, but I fear sounding too irrational. (Maybe I've hit on another phobia of mine.)

I'll e-mail 'til dawn, write a thank you note at the drop of a hat, leave a Post-It note on a desk....ANYthing to avoid phoning. If I have to phone friends, I do it in the middle of the day so I'll get their answering machine and get really miffed when someone is home sick and actually answers.
