hands? Or smooth faces? The ones in my family had course hands, smashed
fingers, knots on the head from getting banged by a 4X4 post...etc etc.

I wouldn't disagree with this too much, but if Jesus was perfect - would that mean he never smashed a finger or bumped his head? Guess he'd still get calluses though.
