Looking at a possible topping formation 7/19 - 9/24. It was really just idle speculation, so don't waste too much time on it! I don't actually use this for trading. I like Stan's book too, because he sticks to a practical approach. I don't subscribe to The Professional Tape Reader, but there's an excerpt from his September 17th advisory in the Market Watch section of Barron's this week. He's been getting more defensive since mid-July and expects to see an increasing number of 'accidents' and 'blowups' in the coming weeks. He says "the probabilities are quite high that the S&P 500 Index reached an important peak at 1420, and we do not expect that high to be bettered in the coming months."
