Dman, Soccer gaming has always been big in the UK since the second WW. Traditionally it is based on a pool of money with each punter trying to get 8 score draws out of a selection of 10. This 'pool' betting took quite a hit when the UK govt intoduced the lottery. It is also possible to bet with bookmakers on the outcome of individual games. I understand that soccer betting is in bigger in the countries of the Far East. Internet betting is just starting to take off with many UK bookmakers going off shore to avoid gaming duty.
