Wordcraft's Multi-Port Fax Server Now Available on the Internet

IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Wordcraft Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WORC) announced that as a result of strong demand for its powerful and proprietary fax server "Fax Central", the company will now commence marketing its fax server through qualified VARS, Distributors, and the Internet. Presently, the company is selling its fax server through office equipment dealers across North America.

This multiline Fax Server is primarily designed for integration into a Local Area Network (LAN) and is compatible with PCs and the following operating systems: Windows 3.1, 3.11, 95, 98, and NT. It also permits up to 512 concurrent users per device and has 4, 8, or 16 fax channels. In addition to sending and receiving faxes, it has the following features:

-- Faxes can be routed to any local or available network printer;

-- 6+ gigabytes of document storage;

-- Faxes forwarded by e-Mail are self-viewing;

-- Multi-channel simultaneous broadcasting;

-- ITU T.30 Sub-addressing;

-- Automatic job assignment to next available channel;

-- Intelligent redialing;

-- Unlimited phone book entries and broadcast lists;

-- Archiving by Sender's ID - files are self-viewing.

The company commenced marketing "Fax Central" in April, 1999 through hundreds of its present customers (business machine dealers) across North America including; IKON, NEC, Sharp, Pitney Bowes Facilities Management and at the annual Business Technology Association (BTA) 1999 Trade Show. Attendees included: Canon, Danka, IKON, Konica, Ricoh, Sharp, Toshiba, Xerox and others.

According to industry analyst Pete Davidson of Davidson Consulting of Burbank, CA, the 1998 Fax Server Device market exceeded $500 million and is expected to expand to $1.0 billion by the year 2002.
