Handgun violence is only one form of violence. Very public
and very volatile, because handguns make it EASY to kill, mesmerizing to some because it enable's kids to kill kids, but still it is only one form of violence. We need to address the underlying causes for ALL violence...hatred,greed and ignorance. As a society of "free" people, we need to learn to love each others as brothers and sisters. The alternatives are the kind of have-have-not scenarios that generate the tensions which are the subject of much of the art, music and literature of today.
It may make good music, but it makes a sorry world.
