I have already addressed that question on the MDA thread. I am aware that there is a difference, but regardless is is still the worse performance since the 1970's. That is not to say that I am equating that we will have a bear market as bad as 1970, just making the statement that it hasnt been this bad since then. Actually, last year it did get somewhat bad but by that time it already lost the 2000 points in the DOW and actually hinted of a rebound in retrospect. This year is different from last year in that the NEW HIGHs/LOWs are already quite bad and the NAZ is still only a few percentage points off the highs.
