NEWS RELEASE
POTTER MINE PROPERTY,TIMMINS-MATHESON AREA,ONTARIO
BLUE SKY GEOPHYSIC TARGETS TO BE DRILL TESTED
Millstream's President, Ernest Harrison is pleased to announce that the Hunter Dickinson Group Inc., through the Potter Exploration Limited Partnership, will proceed to raise $3.0 million for the implementation of the next (2nd) stage in the previously announced $4.0 million Exploration Phase. The balance of the financing ($3.0 million), when coupled with the initial stage would complete the $4.0 million Phase approved exploration Plan in the Millstream/Hunter Dickinson Group Inc. Agreement.
This 2nd stage is to drill test the identified favourable geophysic targets with the objective of greatly increasing the potential resource tonnage of the Potter Property.
East Geophysics Target (Blue Sky) to be drilled
Geophysics and Quantec completed Real Section I.P. surveys have identified (400 to 800 meters East of the past mine shaft) a large favourable exploration target having a similar signature to that of the massive sulphide (MASU) mineralized mine area. A volcanic vent (feeder) has been discovered lying between the MASU mineralized mine area and this Blue Sky target. The significance and excitement being that upon a successful intersection of MASU mineralization in the Blue Sky target with the location of the volcanic vent, the Property potential could take a quantum upward move. Additionally, it would elevate the degree of confidence in Quantec's Real-Section I.P. and Downhole 3D TEM Borehole I.P. surveys relating to other favourable geophysics targets on the Potter Mine Property.
The Hunter Dickinson Group Inc., as Trustee for the HDG Master Trust, is the General Partner and manager of the HDG Potter Exploration Limited Partnership. The directors and officers of the General Partner are Robert G. Hunter, Robert A. Dickinson, Jeffery R. Mason, David J. Copeland, Scott D. Cousens, David S. Jennings and Ronald A. Thiessen. Robert G. Hunter is Chairman, Robert A. Dickinson is CEO and President and Jeffery R. Mason is CFO and Secretary in addition to being Directors. All of the directors, except for David J. Copeland and Ronald A. Thiessen, are employed by Hunter Dickinson Inc., a company providing management and administrative services to publicly traded companies.
A meeting held in Vancouver from September 7 to 10/99 between the majority of the Hunter Dickinson Group Inc. directors and Millstream's President reviewed the results of the initial exploration stage (geology and definition diamond drilling, referred to in Press Release August 18/99) and the funding achievements to date. It was agreed to proceed to the next stage with Hunter Dickinson organizing a revised financing Offering Memorandum and Millstream to direct site activities.
Hunter Dickinson Group Inc., reports the recent preliminary diamond drilling has conclusively proven that the Potter deposit (past mine area) has strong potential with systematic delineation drilling to become a significant copper-zinc-cobalt-silver (MASU) deposit. To-date the deep drilling has intersected (MASU) to a vertical depth of 3,000 feet from surface. Diamond drill testing of the other favourable targets is now a priority.

The shareholders are further encouraged to continue expressing and documenting their comments and concerns to management.
The principal objective of Millstream Mines Ltd. is to enhance and develop known mineral properties to production potential.
