<Dreams are nice, a lot of people moved to California in the 1840's for that gold rush and the lion share of them ended up panned out, this is
what is so ridiculous about this ipo mania, most of these 99ers are going to be belly up.>

I don't mean to single you out here per se, bb, but I will use this post as an example, if I may....

LG doesn't like it when folks such as myself have suggested that this thread is bearish. But comments such as these largely go unchallenged here.

So LG wants folks such as myself to provide analysis to refute comments such as these. But of course, that is impossible. Because it all boils down to one's world view. One's perspective. One's beliefs and one's hopes....

To be fair to bb, he does strike me as one of the more flexible folks on this thread. I have seen him not hesitate to ride the bull when ST conditions warrant it. However, his overall perspective is more closely characterized by this post, in my experience. As would I say also of LG, donald, heinz and others. And after all, these are some of the most prolific posters on this thread.

We really don't seem to disagree much on the ST, which can be supported by TA. But in terms of *interpretation* of the direction of our economy and how that gets translated into stock valuations, yes there is a significant differing viewpoint.

I hope I don't get flamed too much here, because these comments come from a long-time reader of this thread who continues to benefit much by it.

Regards, Rob
