Starfield announces major program has commenced
Multi-phase exploration drilling campaign underway
on Ferguson Lake, Nunavut Territory property,
targeting world-class bulk tonnage base metals/PGM
discovery.

Extensive exploration/drilling by Inco in 1950's
Drill-inferred resource of 6.4 million tonnes grading
0.87% copper and 0.75% nickel already established
on project to a shallow depth. Encouraging surface
and drill samples indicate grades increasing in the
east zone.

Promising Platinum, Palladium, Cobalt potential
Exploration by Homestake in late 1980's on the
Ferguson Lake project reveals presence of
significant PGM grades up to 3.7 g/t Pt, and 15 g/t
Pd within the massive sulphides.

Starfield advancing Ferguson Lake property since
1998
Starfield grab samples further confirm extensive PGM
potential, returning values up 1.3 g/t Pt, and 4.6 g/t
Pd. Strike length 9km -deposit remains open along
strike and at depth.

Analysts draw strong parallels to Voisey's Bay
London-based mining analysts, David Williamson
Associates Ltd., report the Ferguson Lake property
has "excellent geological potential for a significant
PGM discovery."
