The news release today is the business plan we talked about almost two years ago when we bought BETT originally. Ireland, note national government, has authorized the company to use it's hardware and firmware, for secured banking (financial) transactions. That was a major hurdle for them! To have a country sign-off with the politicans and bankers saying their product fits the bill, is "safe", and timely. I would like to have that on my resume for the next close. Not regional, but country wide sanctioned. Eventually this style of payment will be used for utility company payments, retail purchases, lottery tickets (no last minute runs to the store), and buying food and pizza at stores across the global economy for home delivery. I do not think I want to order Irish Beer for home delivery to Neptune Beach, Florida. If and when you get the chance.. read "The Digital Economy" and it will surprise the direction we are heading towards ecommerce and home purchasing. Best wishes:)
