TRISIGNAL Communications, a Division of Eicon Technology
Corporation has been named to Microsoft Corporation's (NASDAQ:
MSFT) Windows( CE Systems Integrator program, as a provider of
embedded modems for manufacturers of Windows CE-based hardware
devices. As a member of this program, TRISIGNAL is offering
software integration services for next generation telephony
products, like Internet Screen Phones, that combine data and voice
communications. TRISIGNAL specializes in licensing a full range of Microsoft(R)
Windows CE-based communications designs to leading manufacturers
delivering Windows CE-based products in a wide variety of product
categories, including Palm Top devices, Clamshell devices,
Sub-notebook PCs, notebook PCs, videogame consoles, internet
screen phones, set top boxes, telemetry devices, digital cameras,
and home appliances of all types. TRISIGNAL can immediately embed
an OEM high-speed Modem, ISDN or wireless adapter into any Windows
CE-based hardware platform, thanks to processor-independent code
architecture and a vast existing installed customer base. Initial
hardware design assistance, porting onto customer platforms and
training are all part of TRISIGNAL's standard license.
