CORAL GABLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 1999--Orex Gold Mines Corp. ORXX is pleased to announce that it is completing the design and purchase of additional mining equipment which will be used to adopt current equipment for use with the HGP process, and which should improve gold production.

It is the goal of Orex to be in production as soon as practicable. With gold prices currently edging higher, this will allow Orex to commence and improve operations soon.

Orex intends to have a demonstration of such equipment which may include invited members from the press, various agencies, as well as other mining representatives that may be negotiating with Orex. Due to safety considerations and the overwhelming amount from those wishing to attend, Orex will schedule site visits by appointment only. This will allow the company to devote its resources to the operations of its business. Also, Orex opened a corporate office located at 521 1/2 West Wickenburg Way, Wickenburg, AZ 85390.
