SiGEM Announces Quotation of Common Shares on CDN

KANATA, ON, Sept. 20 /CNW/ - SiGEM Inc. (``SiGEM') is pleased to announce that the Canadian Dealing Network Inc. has approved the quotation of the common shares of SiGEM. Effective September 20, 1999, the common shares of SiGEM are available for trading on the Canadian Dealing Network under the symbol ``SGEM'. SiGEM currently has 10,783,043 common shares issued and outstanding.
On April 16, 1999, SiGEM completed an amalgamation with Tourism & Entertainment Management (1998) Inc., an inactive reporting issuer under the Securities Act (Ontario). As a result of the amalgamation, the former shareholders of SiGEM, as a group, now own and control approximately 75.6% of the outstanding post-amalgamation common shares.
SiGEM manufactures electronic modules and antennas primarily addressing Global Positioning System (``GPS') applications as well as a satellite facsimile interface unit. The current emphasis of SiGEM is directed towards
8the fast-growing location-tracking market since it involves the use of satellite and terrestrial communication systems, a specialty of SiGEM.
