I know the normal logic of stocks getting ahead of themselves but I don't think this situation fits. If what we are seeing is a short squeeze, the only thing that would stop it is for someone to come in and do some massive selling. This, in the past, has been attributed to the feds who want to encourage a dollar standard rather than a gold standard and therefore want to keep the price of gold down. Again, if this is a true short squeeze, we should see an immediate rise in price after the selling is over and in fact we have recovered back to +$29 already. I really do hope this is for real. If so, the feds will eventually see the futility of trying to manipulate the market and stop the dumping. Then they will resort to some lame comments from the Treasury Secretary. If one of these is forthcoming, we will know it is the real thing.

Best of Luck,

Ross
