ot resurprised you shorted AOL You are so right: what was really bad though was that I didnt take the gain I had and I didnt get out the next morning when it turned against me and just buy the shares to ride them up. I have learned my lesson: no shorting these big amazing volatile companies....if I short at all it will be small co's ..but I'm not sure I will. Maybe when the baby boomers start retiring and find soc sec is dead and their tax rate is 90% and they have to take all their money out of the market to live on...that will be big shorting time if I'm still playing this game! Freeus (I'm a "baby boomer" too but not expecting any soc sec so dont consider it part of my retirement pay)
