A nice recovery in the markets today. Somedays you just have to shake your head though. Because of the Hurricane I bought puts on AETNA and ALLSTATE the Friday before landfall. Sold the AETNA puts at 6 1/2 yesterday for >100% profit. I checked today and they closed at $14 and change on even more downgrades. <Darn> Sold 2/3 of the ALLSTATE position today and made about 500% on those. ALLSTATE is already so low that they may not downgrade it anymore. It will probably be a takeover candidate at some point.
