I don't really care if I am right or wrong as long as my portfolio shows considerable growth. -g- Yes, the broader market has been in a bear since Late April of 1998 (by such stats as advance/decline, no. of stocks below 200 DMA etc.)

Right now I am extremely long (and happy too) on gold stocks. I have been predicting a turn-around for gold with several days of $10 gains in the bullion. It turned out, I was a pessimist! -g- At one point today, the yellow stuff is up 44 bucks! As far as I am concerned, gold is a play on reckless money and credit expansion around the world. Period.
