Richard saw your question and don't follow Silver either but later noticed this comment from Jon Kaplan's news to-day

Microsoft CEO Bill Gates purchased 10.3% of silver producer Pan American Silver (PAAS) from August 3, 1999 through September 20, 1999 at a share price ranging from $4.875 to $5.27 per share, through open market purchases.

Gates is a close buddy of Warren Buffett of course so that may have relevance for you. Sorry but I tend to be more interested in who is doing what to whom than in charts anyway. Especially where there is a demonstated degree of "competence" involved.

Cheers

I seem to recall Pan American as a vancouver company at one time but don't know if they've spread their wings since then.
