Jason - RE: "Athlon 700 listed on pricewatch. Not available, but listed."

Availability is listed as end of Oct. or Nov. So it looks like OEMs are getting practically all of these processors, assuming there will be 700MHz systems available when it is launched.

There are more vendors selling the Athlon 550 and 600 compared to 500 (and 650).

The number of vendors selling the 650 is increasing.

The K6-2 500 is finally in stock.

Here is an interesting one - There are more vendors selling the Athlon 500, 550, and 600 than the number selling the K6-2 475 (and 500).

The K6-2 prices are VERY low. I think the 400 is less than the 350 was last Q around this time.

The Athlon 600 is currently priced SIGNIGICANTLY lower than the P-X 600. Which means those prices will drop soon. Not bad for the newest product from Intel - MAJOR price drops with a week of its arrival!
